I think Theo Walcott's got the record on 100m sprint: givemesport.com/347454-world-football-fastest-100m-sprinters –  20050 8519 21102 26896 16937 Apr 5 at 3:27

1 Answer 1

It's very hard to pick the quickest player in the EPL, it also depends if you measure the run without the ball or with the ball.

To sum up the answer, Theo Walcott is probably the fastest one but it's inconclusive.

Measurements are being done all the time by several organizations,
In the last measurement done by FIFA who choose Antonio Valencia as fastest player on the planet, the following EPL players which appears on the list are:

1) Antonio Valencia (35.1 KM/H)

3) Aaron Lennon (33.8 KM/H)

5) Theo Walcott (32.7 KM/H)

7) Wayne Rooney (31.2 KM/H)

List of Fastest player by FIFA

The accuracy of these numbers can probably be disputed, since all FIFA has stated is that the data was pulled off from their own computers and tracking systems.

Another source is Goal.Com, Goal’s 5 quickest players in the Premier League are: 1. Theo Walcott (22.72 miles per hour) 2. Kyle Walker 3. Jesus Navas 4. Gabby Agbonlahor 5. Aaron Lennon

According to ftbpro.com Theo Walcott is the fastest one.

And you asking Kyle Walker (Tottenham) so he will present this as a prove that he is the fastest

Kyle Walker

I would seriously question any stat that has Rooney as the seventh fastest player –  queeg Aug 26 at 7:58
