I was in the Braves dugout during warm-ups for the Braves at Padres game in 1996. Game was in San Diego for Military Appreciation Day. I found a practice ball and some players to sign but now I forgot who signed and can't read these signatures. Please help me identify the signatures from the image. Thank you.

  1. Bobby Cox
  2. Brad Clontz
  3. Steve Avery
  4. ** Ron Villone (SDP)
  5. Jeff Blauser
  6. John Smoltz
  7. ** Javy Lopez - At first I thought it wasn't Lopez because it wasn't matching signatures I was finding for him online. But I've found at least three different styles for his autograph, including one similar to #7 on this ball
  8. Fred McGriff
  9. David Justice
  10. Mark Lemke
  11. ** Terry Pendleton (the T starts in the middle of that area)
  12. Greg Maddux (awful signature for such a legendary player)

@user643 - I have a Terry Pendleton autograph in my possession and it does not look like that. I'm confident in my Marquis Grissom ID there. I'm also confident in my #4 id. See [here] (i8.ebayimg.com/05/i/001/01/94/3163_35.JPG). The K in Klesko has a left post that is an exaggerated V shape and the second letter of the first name in the original picture has a clear descender indicating a Y. – Jacob G Aug 21 '12 at 1:15

After looking at other signatures on the web it looks like Jacob G has #4 and #11 correct. – user643 Aug 21 '12 at 3:20

@JacobG I've reviewed both, and I totally agree with you. Great sleuthing, and thanks for being persistent with details, for the sake of user643 – jimmym715 Aug 21 '12 at 11:50
