Can anyone tell me who signed this baseball? My dad passed away last year and found it in his possessions. He was a Washington Nationals fan and I think it is from a former Nationals player.

Curtis Pride. Curtis John Pride is a former Major League Baseball outfielder. Pride was originally signed by the New York Mets, but reached the major leagues with the Montreal Expos in 1993. He then became a Washington National when the Expos moved to Washington.

  • Would you be able to explain how you worked out this was Curtis Pride? – Philip Kendall Aug 15 '17 at 15:12
  • I knew the ball was signed at a Washington National's game. Just did not know by whom or when. So I looked at the Nationals' all-time roster and looked for any players with the last name starting with the letter P. Curtis Pride's name was there and I googled for a picture of his autograph and it was a match. – kkdahlke Aug 16 '17 at 15:48
