Why? Difficult to find the answer maybe, but there nothing wrong with it as a question.

  • @PhilipKendall I haven't said it is a wrong question

  • Could you then expand your comment to explain why you wouldn't answer a perfectly good question with a serious answer?

  • Could this question be made clearer? 'by running the most time' ? Are you asking for the team which has performed this task the most number of times?

Although not a very common occurrence, this phenomenon does feature quite a lot in test matches (especially on the bigger grounds like in Australia or England). Hence, there is almost no extra media attention whenever this occurs.

Also, ball-by-ball information is not available for a substantial amount of test matches. Hence there is almost no way of answering your question quantitatively.

This is not a particularly rare thing to happen, although it may become rarer now that the playing area is getting smaller and smaller (so that more boundaries are scored, for folks who only like to watch T20 games).

  • This didn't really answer the question.

  • OK then. Nobody knows, because it isn't considered unusual or interesting enough to bother counting.
