So if the rule states both sides must be visible then the rule needs to be re writen. I will check with my lawyer. In the mean time .... no free ball | |
Jul 5, 2020 at 13:21 | comment | added | ImClarky | @Trevor - As I was trying to allude to in the last part of my answer - it depends on what the "snookering ball" is - ie what ball is preventing you from seeing both extreme sides - and as rule 17 says above, only a ball (or balls) that is not on can be a "snookering ball". Taking one of the corner balls in the pack, the only ball blocking both sides is a red ball, and as all of the reds are on it cannot be defined as a snookering ball, therefore there is no snooker. | |
